Guidelines for Poster Preparation
• Please prepare your poster on a single sheet of Flex or similar material. (there are NO provisions for e-Posters).
• The dimensions of the poster should not exceed 36 inches (breadth) by 48 inches (length) in portrait layout
• Materials for mounting the posters will be available at the venue.
• Posters should include the following headings: Title (including Institutional Affiliations), Introduction, Methods, Results, Conclusions and References. References may be formatted in Vancouver style uniformly throughout the poster.
• Please use a clear, readable font style, so that the text is easily readable from a distance. The font size for the header should be 72, with 40-50 for the text in the content. The text should be readable from a distance of six feet away.
• Define any abbreviations/ acronyms when used for the first time.
• Please ensure graphical and visual clarity when presenting numerical or statistical data.
• A handout may be prepared for those who request additional information.
Instructions for Posters and Poster session
• Posters can be mounted between 0800 – 0900 Hrs on the day of the CME and can be removed after 0500 Hrs on the same day.
• Presenters are required to be present by their posters between 11:30 and 12:30 for the scheduled poster session.
• A panel of experts will judge the posters and three best posters will be awarded on the day of the conference.
• Each author/presenter will be responsible for carrying, placing and removing their poster.
